The 4-H, Youth, and Community Arena

IMG_7309.png

Since April 2024, The Community Arena has provided a home for The Ranch’s 4-H partners, youth groups, and community members to host livestock events, practices, and educational opportunities year-round. The facility is available primarily to the community at an accessible rate, bringing new opportunities for youth livestock activities to grow and expand, fostering the future of agriculture in Larimer County, and giving youth more chances to learn, grow, and collaborate.

The 41,000-square-foot arena includes:

  • A 125 feet by 200 feet indoor arena, complete with bleachers and storage.
  • Classrooms with livestock wash areas and educational facilities.
  • Supporting event infrastructure such as offices, restrooms, and lobby areas.

The Ranch Youth and Community Arena Updates

Since August 2022, construction crews have been hard at work transforming an uneven dirt parking lot into a beautiful new arena for Larimer County. The team has been working on the interior of the building, and crews are wrapping up construction of the new arena. The Community Arena officially opened in April 2024.
