Great Lawn Expansion

The Great Lawn Expansion is a game-changer, with three phases slated for completion by July 2027. The project includes relocating current roadways and utilities, upgrading technology, and leveling and developing 14 acres of new event space. A new outdoor amphitheater with a capacity of ~6,500 will be a significant highlight, along with additional parking with direct access to enhance visitor convenience. This expansion will boost the total event space on the Great Lawn to an impressive 20 acres, setting the stage for more substantial, more diverse events than ever before.
